The Story of the Lamington Ave Tote Bag

Posted on 12 September 2016

These linen sacks were located in the Alsac Bas – Rhin Department, in Eastern France. Amazingly strong and treasured because it was so labour intensive and expensive to produce.

Originally used by farmers as grain sacks, the colour of the stripes represent regions and the different stripes the individual farmer.

This tote is part of a limited edition range manufactured in Australia.
